Sydney based graphic designer and photographer Christopher Dingle has created an interesting collection of transition images by using 1872 Gulgong Holtermann Collection photographs and photographs of his own taken to celebrate the arrival of Henry Beaufoy Merlin and Charles Bayliss 150 years ago. The images are street scenes and have been taken from the same locations and overlayed in colour.
The exhibition runs from 7th of March 2022 till the 3rd of October 2022 in the Museum theatrette. Souvenir items with transition photos are now available in the form mugs, postcards and prints in the gift shop
