Buildings

The Gulgong Holtermann Museum consists of four unique buildings, each with a separate purpose and focus upon an aspect of the Holtermann Collection. The American Tobacco Warehouse and Greatest Wonder of the World are the front buildings which remain true to the original heritage listing for which they are famous. The Gulgong Gallery as its name suggests, focuses upon life in Gulgong and district in 1872, and the last of our buildings is the theatrette where events and exhibitions are held, and where a selection of videos are constantly playing.
The courtyard is a hidden gem, connecting the older State Heritage listed buildings and the new contemporary buildings. It is a flexible and enriching outdoor space.
